Monday's Post
I am running behind schedule today! I had hoped to have my MONDAY post up and ready for everyone to view "EARLY" today, but I must admit that the post for TODAY won't be available for everyone to view until around 4 pm.
Please be patient with me as I begin this new schedule for posting(s) on my blog(s). Like everyone else, I just have too many things to do, and not enough hours to do them in, BUT I promise my Monday's post will be here today, just a little late today !
Happy Stamping Everyone!

Tuesday's Timely Tips
This is a few things that you can do to help increase your business.....As I
have said before you need to put your info on EVERY E-MAIL you send out.
Participate in challenges on Splitcoaststampers. Make sure you put your blog address in your signature line.
Participate in sketch challenges or color challenges on other blogs.
Submit your blog
for Google registration https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url?pli=1
Do the same for Yahoo/Bing: http://www.bing.com/toolbox/submit-site-url
Make sure that you have business cards with you, not only that, but keep a few cards you have made with you as well, and show them to people such as :
Doctors Office
Dentist Office
Cosmetologist
Veterinarian office waiting rooms
Optician
Waitresses
Babysitter
neighbors
family members
store clerks
Dog Groomers
Laundromats
Any Type of waiting rooms .....
Some small restaurants have bulletin boards
IF you have seen the door hanger advertisement I have spoken about, that's a good idea to help spread the word about your new business. Put your class schedule(s) and some business cards on any bulletin board you see.
Go to your local schools and ask if you can hold classes there.( perhaps while there's a sporting event going on )
Ask to put a couple of catalogs and your class schedule, along with some business cards in the teacher's lounge ( you might also take a fee photos of your cards and copy them off on a piece of paper to put into the catalogs.
Leave some catalogs and a class schedule and a few business cards in local car dealerships
Leave some business cards on any bulletin board .....some small restaurants have bulletin boards
Put some of your catalogs ( even ones that are expired with a current class schedule and a business card attached to the class schedule ) in waiting rooms in hospitals ( especially surgery waiting rooms or x-ray waiting rooms. You could also do this at all out-patient clinic waiting rooms
You also might advertise in Weekly Church Bulletins, call the church office for information
MAKE SURE That you write down the places that you have put your advertisements in. This way, you can go back and CHECK to see if they are being used or taken. Make sure you can the materials you are leaving from time to time.
Another thing, SU! has magnetic SIGNS that you can purchase ( I think the cost of them are 2 / $45.00 These are listed in the LOGO PLACE on the SU! Website. There's a lot of business materials you can purchase from STAMPIN UP! with the SU! Logo on it for a reasonable price. IF you can't find the LOGO Place on SU! website e-mail me and I will help you !
These are just a few ideas that you can use to increase your business. IF you have any ideas that you might like to share, please let me know !
Happy Stamping !

NEXT TIP........How to make sure your STAMPS are in THEIR CASES when you ARE FINISHED STAMPING !!
Coming Soon
" I am hoping to get some stability to my life and to my Stampin Up! Business / Hobby !!! "
How many of you have said this to yourselves, or perhaps you have heard a friend say it who is into paper crafting?
Like all of us, I too have a busy schedule and want to make sure that I have things organized not only in my home and daily life, but also so that I have time for my favorite passion ....STAMPING !
So, I have decided to do the following things. Lately I have been neglecting my blog postings, but there's a good reason for that. I have been helping other demonstrators who are friends of mine build simple blogs to help their business. I love helping others, I really do. I enjoy the e-mails ( phone calls too ) that I receive asking me how to do certain things, just as much I enjoy helping out a friend who isn't a stamper ! ( Well, sooner or later I try to make ALL MY non-stamping friends into paper crafters ! LOL! )
During this past week while I have been creating a class, I began to think about my blog(s) and some changes I would like to make. For starters, I am going to have a TERRIFIC TIP TUESDAY !! Starting Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Each Tuesday I will feature a tip about stamping, or a tip that has helped "me" along the way as I am building my SU! business etc. IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS for a TIP .....please feel free to e-mail me !
As my blog grows, I would love to have a GUEST STAMPER once a month, so if you would like to be a GUEST STAMPER please e-mail me and sent me a card or two that you have made, along with all the information on how the card was made. This will be a way to get your name out there, especially if you have just started blogging, and want more subscribers !! I am planning on having the GUEST STAMPER on EVERY 2nd THURSDAY of the MONTH....so, please consider being a guest stamper will you !
Each Tuesday I will post a Terrific Tuesday Tip for everyone. I hope you enjoy this.
( This Tuesday will be several "TIPS", after that, it will be 1-2 tips each Tuesday )
On Mondays and Wednesday, I will be featuring a card of some type. On Fridays I will feature FESTIVE FRIDAYS. Festive Fridays will have invitations, thank you notes, announcements etc.
Saturdays will be set aside for Simple and Easy cards or projects.
I won't be posting anything on Sundays!!
So, I hope that you will enjoy the plans I have for this blog. Be sure to comment from time to time, I would really appreciate that.
Happy Stamping !

It's Spring!!
The weather is sooo nice out today! So I decided to make a card that reminds me of Spring!
Stamp Set
Oh! Hello! no# 130733
Card Stock
Midnight Muse. no# 126843
Calypso Coral no# 122925
Summer Starfruit. no# 126839
Whisper White. no# 100730
Pool Party no# 122924
Sycamore Street DSP no# 127540
Punches
1 3/4" Circle no# 119850
1 1/4" Square no# 119865
Elegant Butterfly no# 127526
Eyelet Border (retired)
2 3/8"Scallop Circle. no# 118874
Constructing the card :
Using an A2 size card( 8 1/2"x 5 1/2", attach the first layer of Summer Starfruit card stock, to the front of the card using adhesive.
I cut 4 pcs of Sycamore Street DSP
1" x 3". Using the 1 1/4" square punch, punch the ends as shown. Cut each of these 1"x3" to 1"x 2 3/4".
I didn't measure the width between each piece of DSP, but of course you could measure the width if you chose to do so.
After you place each 1"x 2 3/4" pc of DSP on the pc of Summer Starfruit card stock, w/ your adhesive, then place the 2"by 5 1/4" strip of Pool Party card stock, that you have used with the (retired) eyelet border punch.( you can any SU! border punch of your choice.
Place the Elegant Butterflies you have previously punched out ( I used Calypso Coral & Summer Starfruit card stock)atop the eyelet border strip, however you want to place the butterflies.
Using the 2 3/8" scallop circle punch I punched out a scallop circle using Midnight Muse CS. I placed 2
dimensionals on the scalloped circle, and place it on the card as shown in the photo.
Using the "Oh Hello" stamp from the stamp set "Oh Hello"no#130733, stamping it on a pc. of whisper white CS , Punch the sentiment out by using 1 3/4" circle punch.
So that a sentiment can be added to the inside of the card, cut a pc of whisper white 5"x 4". Add any sentiment of your choice to the inside of the card.
If you have any questions about the card, don't hesitate to email me!
Have a great day!!
Happy Stampin'!!
